Health and Safety Advisor

CSC can provide your business with professional Health and Safety advice, providing you with a primary responsibility in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by promoting and implementing safety policies, procedures, and practices. CSC can conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, provide training, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 

CDM Training

CDM training is available from 3 hrs duration to 3 full days (with accreditation).  The training covers all duty holders’ responsibility and accountability, sets out the requirements for all relevant documentation (Pre-construction information, Construction Phase Plans, Health and Safety files) whilst also highlighting the need for Design Risk Management, Significant risks and residual risks.

Building Safety Act 

CSC Building Safety Act training provides delegates with the necessary understanding of the essential requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA).

This training provides an overview of the BSA, including key roles and responsibilities (duties), compliance requirements, and the regulatory frameworks for building design, construction and maintenance.  We also look at the secondary legislation which impacts on all duty holders along with the implications for building managers and accountable persons to manage the fire and structural safety risks of a high-rise residential building.

Raymond has 16 years’ experience as a civil engineer managing contracts of £3million + which included large infrastructure projects for the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. 

Raymond was the Managing Director of ABBEY Construction Consultants for over 9 years leading a team of safety consultants on contracts over £22.5m 

In addition to working for Local Authorities Raymond has worked for large infrastructure companies providing him with the opportunities to lead large teams to deliver projects in a safe and timely manner. 

Raymond works as a lecturer at the University of Hull, delivering content on the BSc (Hons) Occupational safety and he is the past President for the APS.
